Taoist Palmistry Class

 

 I am offering this class at the recent interest and request of several people. In this basic course we will discover ourselves in our palms via the three major lines of the palm. They are the body, mind and spirit. We will explore their significance to ones physical health, mind set, personality, spiritual tendencies and gifts, and relationship compatibility.

 

Using Taoist philosophies we will learn how to do a basic but thorough palm reading, take palm pictures, about the 3 levels of heaven, man and earth. What each finger represents in your life. If your were a man or woman in your past life via yin or yang fingerprints. And much more!

 

Please bring a camera of some sort to take your own "palm print" and a pen and some paper for taking notes and drawing hands. The use of a tape recorder or video camera is also advised/allowed.

8 classes a month, morning or evening = $75

4 classes a month, morning or evening = $45

Class includes Taoist Reverse Breathing or Embryonic breathing, full body stretching regimen, correlations of muscle groups and organ qi meridians, wu xing or five element organ theory, silent meditation, exploring the 8 silken forms, fa ching or silk reeling, forming a golden qi ball for qi washing, and the remarkable remedies of qi gong application.

 Self Defense Classes

“Situational awareness allows for variational response.” Bijia Hsing

“Tien Shih Tao” or Way of Heavenly Master, Taoist Martial Arts by Bijia Hsing. An ancient art for modern applications.

Classes are based on principles of Chinese Kempo of escape control and destroy. Real world scenarios of grab defenses and escapes, up against wall escape, grab from behind escape, bear hug escape, rape and abduction prevention, weapons defense training, weapons application training.

Kickboxing, Point and Free-sparring, Filipino Stick & Steel Training also available.

Classes done privately, group session as seminar, monthly ongoing, and popular women’s only classes!

Taoist Dietary Classes

Private classes or Seminars. Classes include use of wok, meanings and application of veggie usage in regard to influencing healing of organs. Meal or recipe breakdowns in regard to organ health. Each organs systems have correlations to emotions. Each organ has an accompanying zodiac, time of day, hour, element, and sense organ. Wu Xing or 5 element theory is one of many foundation principles in Tao culture. How to prep meals, use arrow root for glaze, sea salt vs. table, and the art of fried rice!

Astrology Compatibilities

There are four zodiacs in Chinese astrology. Year, month, day and hour. As we move through different social circles we move from one to the next. Ever wonder why we treat people differently, or interact with various people in various ways? Most people are familiar with the Chinese year signs. But for the best compatibility we need to look at the hour or inner most zodiac characteristics. As in western astrology there are triangles of compatibility and opposition. Here in this practice the palmistry can be used in conjunction with astrology for compatibility ‘diagnosis’ purposes.

KavaKava - A Class That Gives You A Taste of The Pacific!

In this class participants will be introduced to a part of Pacific Culture that not many have been privileged to participate in. To taste Kavakava is to experience the greatness of al the Pacific cultures as this herb is a testament to pacific peoples travel and shared knowledge and cultures. The use of kavakava is widespread throughout all regions of the vast and blue Pacific ocean.
 

Kava (Piper methysticum) (Piper Latin for "pepper", methysticum Greek for "intoxicating") is an ancient crop of the western Pacific. Other names for kava include awa (Hawaiʻi), 'ava (Samoa), yaqona (Fiji), and sakau (Pohnpei). The word kava is used to refer both to the plant and the beverage produced from its roots. Kava is consumed throughout the Pacific Ocean cultures of Polynesia (including Hawaii), Vanuatu, Melanesia and some parts of Micronesia and Australia.

 

Kava is used for: Kava is used for medicinal, religious, political, cultural and social purposes throughout the Pacific. Kava is used primarily at social gatherings to increase amiability and to relax after work. It has great religious significance, being used to obtain inspiration. It is also used medicinally for the following: anxiety, insomnia, stress, has a sedating and is primarily consumed to relax without disrupting mental clarity, it produces mild euphoria and relaxation in the user. Because kava can cause sedation, and in high amounts, intoxication, kava drinks are consumed in some parts of the world in much the same way as alcohol.

 

Kava will be prepared in the modern way via a blender and cold water. Tasting and review will be group participation.

Qi Gong Face Lift Therapy

This relaxing Qi Gong regimen consists of facial point activation and Qi Gong. The Qi invigorates, nourishes the skin and underlying musculature. The point activation brings more blood and Qi to the ares of the points.

After the point activation, the practitioner applies Qi Gong to the entire face, jaw line and neck.

Session are 30 minutes long.

It is intended to each client learn this Qi Gong regime during the course of the 10 sessions for self-application thereafter.

Green tea will be served as antioxidant and relaxation.

Overall, this is a great deal! 10 sessions for a lifetime of healthy, youthful skin.

I use the effective and ancient Taoist Magic Square spread with a traditional cultural Chinese deck. This spread allows for past, present, future, directions, seasons, organ/body chart, emotions. Qi Gong Therapy

WE utilize the highest practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Qi Gong to restore the balance of the bodies’ organ qi. Taoist Reverse Breathing or Embryonic breathing is foundation of both therapy and meditative arts. Herbal modalities also available upon request.
